A short list of what I keep open all day. Not really about the brand names, more about how each one slots into the rhythm of designing a thing and then actually building it.
Claude Code · Where most of the building happens
This is the agent I lean on most. Sonnet is who I think out loud with about UX, research, and half-formed ideas. Once it is time to actually write code and move a prototype forward, I switch over to Opus.
Conductor · My cockpit for Claude Code
The shell I drive Claude Code from. I can keep a few agents running in parallel and push on several features at the same time without losing the thread. Having a terminal and the code diffs right there keeps it all in one place.
Linear · My memory for the work
Vibehaus lives in Linear: todos, ideas, and the bugs I keep meaning to fix. Every prompt I hand to Claude Code gets written there too, so months later I can still see why something was built the way it was. That paper trail helps Claude retrace its own reasoning as well.
Figma · Now closer to a napkin
Figma used to carry most of my day. These days it is more of a scratch pad. I open it to dump a UI idea out of my head fast, then the real work moves into code.
reMarkable · Thinking with a pen
My reMarkable Paper Pro is where rough thoughts land first. Writing something by hand does something that typing never quite does for me, it makes the idea click.
